Too Much … Need Rest

I’m back from bike week and I must recouperate. Here are some highlights.

  1. Left about 5 hours late.
  2. Got there too late for the party I was looking forward to since last year (missed is last year and heard great things).
  3. Motorcycle got left at home because of some complications that occurred about 48 hours before my departure.
  4. Threw up in public once.
  5. Hotel room’s toilet was broken and lacking toilet paper. Proceeded to run 24/7 the rest of the trip.
  6. Fell in the ocean (don’t ask) destroying camera and cell phone (sorry to those who tried to call/text me).
  7. Saw Rich Boy & Shawty Lo in surprise “concert” at the club (I’m a huge fan of both).
  8. Showed Myrtle Beach “My Dougie” … several times
  9. Got some ideas for improvements to my baby (my motorcycle).
  10. Saw a car on 30″ rims … nuts.
  11. Saw a girl with 8 different colors in her hair.
  12. Made it back with all my stuff and no criminal charges.

Now I’m going to recoup and get my mind back into gown educated man mode.

What am I doing today …

  • Loading my bike on the back of a pickup.
  • Picking up two (maybe 3) of my good friends.
  • Driving 7 hours south to Myrtle Beach.
  • Breathing in the ignorance.

Black Bike Week is just this huge celebration of ignorance. You have people not wearing any type of protective equipment (this is the one thing I don’t condone), girls barely wearing clothes, women jumping on the back of bikes with people they don’t know, insane amounts of one night stands, 24″ rims on old ass caprices with skittle colored paint, and girls who are willing to let you smack whatever for no reason. I mean … I almost feel bad just for wanting to go.

Really though … I love bike week. Its only my second time … but damn … last time … man … couldn’t even show people the pictures … it was nuts. But this year I plan to be “good” … I think I can do it … pray for me …
